How We Deliver SDA Homes
As a specialist builder of accessible homes for people living with disability, building an SDA home involves additional design standards, approvals and compliance requirements beyond a standard residential build. This includes accessible home design, mobility considerations, and practical living outcomes for people with disability.
Our team manages each stage carefully to ensure every home meets SDA requirements and is delivered with ‘As Built to SDA Compliance’ certification at handover.
Where do we Build?
Silkwood Homes NDIS House and Land packages are offered across South East Queensland, Northern Rivers and Newcastle. When building a new home it is very important to think about the location. Some things to consider are the size of the land, the neighbourhood and surrounds, accessibility and street frontage.
One of our NDIS Coordinators will discuss with you what your key priorities are for finding a House and Land package. Here are some of the key locations where we are currently building, with surrounding suburbs included (not specified on map). If you have a specific area in mind, please inquire today so we can assist you further.
Already have a block of land? That’s great! We can build on your land or ours. Silkwood Homes can offer you a House Only package to ensure we’re building the home you want in the exact location you want.
